Their unique combination of Hip-House-Jazz style remixes have made them originators in a sound that has tried to be duplicated by many others, yet without the success that MAW have. Their dubs are complete reconstructions of the remixes they perform on original versions, and they are capable of turning their hand at a number of different musical styles for their mixes - anything from heavily tribal-influenced house to slammin' hip-hop. Their work under alias names such as KenLou and The Untouchables can be found on successful underground house labels such as Nervous and Strictly Rhythm (from whom they now have their own label, MAW Records)...

The pair joined forces in 1991, and since that time have provided countless classic remixes for disco-diva Donna Summer, the legendary Michael Jackson, rapper Neneh Cherry, Icelandic queen Bjork, the soulful Trey Lorenz, and Terence Trent D'Arby - amongst many, many others...
In 1997, they released their NuYorican Soul album - an amazing blend of several musical styles, skillfully blended into one of the most beautiful pieces of musical work to emerge from any genre in a long time. The album featured such musical greats as India, George Benson, Tito Puente, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Roy Ayers. Plans for a second NuYorican Soul album are already well under way, but in the meantime, there are plans for a Masters At Work album and many more classic remixes...
